Food Safety Awards Presented to Local Establishments
The Peoria County Board of Health recognized 28 local establishments as recipients of the 2018 Food Safety Excellence Award. Food establishments apply each year for this special award that embodies the dedication to the on-going development of voluntary food safety practices.
Recipients of the 2018 Food Safety Excellence Awards received certificates for their efforts to apply food safe practices that reduce the risk of foodborne illness. The winners and photo album are posted on the Peoria City/County Health Department Food Safety webpage.
