MedicaidWalk-In - STD Mini-Testing
Wondering if you have one of the more common STDs or want a recheck? Just ask for "Brown Bag" mini-testing for quick and easy walk-in STD testing. It's available for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea screening from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. daily in room 104. No fee is charged. Just complete a consent form and give a urine sample. It needs to have been at least one hour since you last urinated to do this screening. Results are available in 7-10 days.

Have symptoms or a partner diagnosed with an STD and need treatment? Call 309-679-6655 for an appointment for a full testing panel and cost, or see your healthcare provider.
Full Appointment Confidential Testing
- STD and HIV testing is available to anyone 12 years and older
- In Illinois, parental consent is not needed for STD testing and treatment for anyone 12 years and older
- All testing is confidential, but you will need to bring identification
Testing
The following diseases can be tested for:
- Chlamydia - Urine test. Results in 7 to 10 days
- Gonorrhea - Urine test. Results in 7 to 10 days
- Syphilis (high risk groups) - Blood draw. Results in 7 to 10 days
- HIV (rapid testing) - Finger stick. Results in 15 minutes
- Charges may apply. Cash, checks, Medicaid, major credit cards accepted.
Who Should Get Tested
You may have an STD and not know it!. We recommend testing for:
- Anyone 25 years and younger who is sexually active
- Anyone with symptoms of an STD:
- Women: vaginal discharge, pelvic pain
- Men: penile discharge, burning with urination
- Men who have sex with men
- Sex partner of individual diagnosed with an STD
- Women with a new partner in the past 3 months
- Women with more than 1 partner in the past 3 months
- Women with a history of an STD in the past 3 years
- Anyone diagnosed with Gonorrhea or Chlamydia (should be re-screened at 3 months to detect possible re-infection)
